Beaver Scouts (6-8)

Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family and are boys and girls aged between 6 and 8 yrs old.

Activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends and having fun!

Ottery Scout Group operate two beaver colonies, Catchpole colony meet on Monday night and Pathfinder colony meet on Wednesday night

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
